 Where do I start
I would like to know how I can become an affiliate member. I understand that this is a tool to generate additional income.
I deal with small OMBs and my clients will benefit from the material on the site. Is my understanding correct that if I refer them to the My1stbusiness site and they become a memeber, I will earn income?
Where do I start?

Hi Ben
Thanks for the information on the affiliate program. This is an excellent money generation opportunity. As this will be my first e-business activity I undertake you will have to bear with me and my all my questions...
I notice that I do not just earn money on the members I refer (40% of their membership fees) but also a further 15% from the membership monies that my 1st generation referals refer to the site. 40% first generation, 15% second generation. Does the affiliate programme extend to the 3rd and subsequent generations of referrals?

The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network, the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate'), and the customer. The market has grown in complexity to warrant a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super-affiliates and specialized third parties vendors.
Affiliate marketing overlaps with other Internet marketing methods to some degree, because affiliates often use regular advertising methods. Those methods include organic search engine optimization, paid search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, and in some sense display advertising. On the other hand, affiliates sometimes use less orthodox techniques, such as publishing reviews of products or services offered by a partner.
Affiliate marketing—using one website to drive traffic to another—is a form of online marketing, which is frequently overlooked by advertisers.[1] While search engines, e-mail, and website syndication capture much of the attention of online retailers, affiliate marketing carries a much lower profile. Still, affiliates continue to play a significant role in e-retailers'
