I like to buy and try a lot of different drivers and actually build my own clubs (shaft replacement, frequency matching, etc).Last week, I bought a golf equipment--Titleist 910 D2 Driver, and given my friend. Unexpectedly, he bought this equipment on the net. The Titleist 910 D2 Driver is a bit as good as the previous 909 versions. There was a slight improvement in forgiveness from the larger sweet areas and the optimized sound and feel at impact were excellent. Many golfers preferred the larger head as it also looked a little more 'conventional' at address. However, you should put looks aside and go for the model that the Titlist fitter recommends as that will give you the best results. Combining this with the SureFit Tour hostel and you have a driver which should meet all the needs of the better player. The Titleist 910 D2 has a cast titanium head that features a forged titanium face insert that has a thicker central portion equidistant from all points around the face perimeter. In the D2 this increases the sweet spot by 15% compared to the 909 D2 drivers. Titleist hit the deep drive with this one. The ability to customize your flight is huge in today's driver market. You really notice how "hot" the face is compared to the other drivers available today when you hit this club inside. Give Titleist 910 D2 Driver a try and you will be pleasantly surprised at how good this driver from Titleist really is. |
