The Titleist AP2 712 irons are a multi-material iron designed for the serious mid to low handicap golfer. It has a more square profile than before, a feature specifically requested by Titleist's Tour players. A forged carbon steel head is aided by a high-density tungsten weight, creating increased playability. Titleist wanted to improve distance control and achieve a more consistent ball speed with the AP2 712 Irons. The Tuned Feel System is a co-molded medallion of soft elastomer and aluminium plate. This tuned cavity insert has been specifically designed to improve the sound and feel of the AP2 irons. Titleist also improved the control and turf interaction by reducing the sole bounce and adding a smaller sole width on the 8-iron, 9-iron and PW. The small progressive offset design in the Titleist AP2 712 Irons is designed for improved shot control throughout the set. The titleis 712 AP2 irons , which are designed for low handicappers,Titleist has significantly increased the club's moment of inertia (MOI) by re-positioning tungsten weight within the heads.The overall goal was to better apply the different materials used in the design.The New titleist AP2 712 Irons are more forgiving and more disctance control.so Have a try with it! |
