Enhancements in TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons
TaylorMade's new lineup is starting to trickle out, and it looks to improve on a number of things.Their game improvement offering was the TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons, and then earlier this year, they dropped the Burner SuperLaunch irons, which were made with max game improvement in mind. Now they've turned their attention again back to the original Burner irons, and made a number of functional and cosmetic changes that promote improvements in distance, accuracy, and appearance. The result is the new Burner 2.0 irons.

TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons have arrived. The faces are thinner. The toplines are progressive. The shafts are specifi cally designed for each head. Every iron has been reinvented. But all you really need to know is they're long. Each cheap TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons individually engineered, resulting in the enhancement of multiple club properties that promote distance, uniform distance-gaps, increased playability and better sound and feel Multi-Functional Sole lowers the CG and reduces turf-drag to make it easy to launch shots high and long, while the Inverted Cone in each clubface is strategically sized and shaped CG location in each head is precision-placed to optimize long-, middle- and short-iron flight; high-COR faces promote fast ball speed for long distance in the long-irons List.

An improved addition to their Burner line of G I irons. Medium width sole, and with a thinnish top line preferred by many. These TaylorMade Burner 2.0 will suit the needs of the serious golfer as well as the avid weekender. The shorter heel to toe length frames the ball well, while offering the appearance of a players iron at address. The sole, while not overly wide, skims through the turf with ease as would a much wider sole.

The 2.0 are a good improvement over the popular Burner 2009. The new black steel and chromed sole, along with the carbon fibered look in the cavity make this a much more attractive iron overall. Distances were very consistent and ball flight, although a bit high, was alright by me. Some may not care for the added height but all in all, a much better performer than it's previous version.

Taylor Made Golf has made quite a good improvement over their previous model of Burner 2.0 Irons. The balance and feel throughout the set has greatly improved in my opinion, and with the new blackened steel and chromed look their new appearance is quite striking. Along with the new added blackened and chrome finish there seems to be an added and a more durable face finish, as well. Maybe help to keep their good looks awhile longer.

Another key component to the improvements found in the Burner 2.0 is variable face thickness throughout the set. The concept is pretty simple - a thinner face is going to produce more of a rebound or trampoline effect (CoR), which in turn produces longer distances, which happens to be exactly what people want in a long iron. The face gets progressively thicker as you move down the set to the scoring irons, where the increased depth is going to provide better feel.

Overall i believe that this set of irons is great purchase for you golfers that are looking to make that next big improvement in your game. The 2.0 irons are a great set of clubs, but you should also check out their Latest and Greatest set of irons. They are the TaylorMade RocketBallz line of irons and they are pretty amazing.
