South Korea's Charlie Wi stayed the course and maintained a three-shot advantage going into the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am - but two of his closest pursuers happen to be Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.


Wi lies on 15 under par after adding a bogey-free, three-under-par 69 at Spyglass Hill on Saturday and leads American Ken Duke by three shots.

Wi was asked if he'd thought at all about the last two weeks on the PGA Tour, where Kyle Stanley and Spencer Levin, both chasing their first win just as Wi is doing, squandered big leads on the final day.

"I haven't really thought about that," Wi told www.enjoymygolf.com. "But I enjoy being in the lead. It's a lot more fun than trying to come from behind. I know that tonight is going to be very exciting, and I'm sure I won't sleep as well as if I'm in 50th place. But that's what we play for, and I'm really excited."

And perhaps a little bit apprehensive as well?

"I'm sure I'll be fighting my demons all day tomorrow and it's how I handle myself tomorrow," Wi added. "It's not what other players are doing. How I handle myself tomorrow is going to be the outcome of the tournament."

The man in third place, four strokes behind Wi, is none other than 14-time major champion Tiger Woods, who continued his resurgence at Pebble Beach Golf Links on Saturday with a well-played five-under-par 67.

At one stage, it looked as if Woods was going to catch the Left Handed Callaway RAZR X HL Irons
, as he went on a five-birdie charge in the space of six holes, but that was followed by another run of seven straight pars as he failed to make any further inroads.
