Post The Ping G20 is 2-grams heavier
Many people like the feel of the Ping G series of drivers but I especially like Ping G20 Driver so much. For Ping, this new driver can be used by players of any skill level. It looks a lot like the other G series drivers, so the only real thing different is the technical improvements that Ping has made to help the average golfer launch the ball higher and farther. The driver has an external weight which helps launch the ball and can be switched out when you get fitted for this club.

The Ping G20 is 2-grams heavier than the G15, but feels lighter when you swing the club. This is because the balance point is located in a different place in the shaft. Since it does feel lighter, it feels like you generate more club head speed, but, when swinging the club it generates about the same speed as you had before. The sweet spot is larger and will help golfers drive the ball pretty well when you hit the ball outside the sweet spot. You may have a tendency of pulling this driver, so align yourself properly.

You can align the club head easy on this driver. The alignment mark stands out from the club and when looking down on the club is easily noticeable. Ping G20 Driver also swings easy and the feel you will get when making contact with the ball is better than its predecessors. The balance of the club is a lot better than anything Ping has produced before. Whatever they did to the balance, it makes it feel lighter. The MSRP is only $329, so you won’t have to sell your wedding ring to buy the new Ping G20.

The feel, launch angle and low spin from this driver makes it better than the previous Ping driver. If you are a beginning or medium-handicap golfer, this is a good driver for you. However, if you want more feel from your driver, you will want to find a different driver.ThePing G20is definitely an improvement over its predecessors, but not much of an improvement.
