Older brother Jarrod rode his luck at the US Tour's Northern Trust Open in California after being second alternate at the beginning of the week but making the field at the last minute.
He parlayed his good fortune into a fourth place finish and a $242,000 cheque, a healthy head start to keeping his Titleist VG3 Iron Set with Steel Shafts

Jarrod, whose wife Briony is expecting the couple's first child within weeks, told AAP's Ben Everill he would have skipped this week's event in Mexico had he finished in the top two but was now keen to ride his good form and return to Australia after the Mayakoba Titleist VG3 Iron Set with Steel Shafts

Meanwhile, younger brother Leighton was posting a runner-up finish to New Zealand's Gareth Paddison at the Adroit Insurance Group Victorian PGA at Forest Resort Creswick.
Leighton fired a final round of two under par 69 to go to the clubhouse at six under but was pipped by a shot when Paddison, who had a roller-coaster final round including four birdies, four bogies and a triple, scraped a bogey at the final hole.
