Your basic IT needs depends very much on your needs and business size.

A one man business with one owner doing everything needs internet, computer, and printer and/or fax machine.
- Laptop if Traveling a lot and/or if you need to be mobile and need the info at your clients.
- Desktop for basic computer needs and/or secretary
- Server or External Mapped Harddrive to share data and to act as onsite backup
- A online backup service for offsite backup
- A fax2email number
- An email account
- A shared printer for basic printing
- An Internet setup

A slightly bigger business need premises and staff with networking done and a server setup
- A Server is ideal for any business with more than 5 computers on a network for centralized filesharing and program access.
- With any network goes more complex shared services to save costs.
- Network Printers (fax/copy/print/scan)
- Desktop and/or Laptop for all necessary employees, depending on their tasks.
