Tracy has success at the tips of her fingers
BUSINESSWOMAN Tracy Maddox swapped the cutting edge of financial services for the finer form of nail art nine years ago, and is going from strength to strength.
Tracy (44), had a lifetime of working in mortgage administration and customer services in the financial world when she decided to make the big career change and start her own business Natural Nails.
She built the business up from home and now has her own business premises in Fenside Drive, Newborough.
She specialises in light concept nails from LCN, the organisationwhich
subsequently approached her to become a trainer for this regio. She has now been awarded the prestigious title of Top Professional Trainer of the Year Award by LCN.
She undertook teacher training to qualify to teach and is now an NV» assessor too, so her time is split between clients and training others.
She said: "I can train other people who may be interested in getting into business, but I don't worry about them setting up in competition because my business is established with a loyal customer base.
"Also, I cover training for the whole of the East Anglia region, not just Peterborough, so the nearest other trainers are Northampton or Sussex."
She said: "It's the first time I have won the award but I am delighted. I have been training for them for four years, and it's nice to be recognised for my hard work."
