Putting is the most precise aspect of the game of golf. The putter must be designed to give the golfer every technical advantage including smooth stroke, good glide, sweet impact, and bounce-less topspin ball launch as well as every technique advantage including perfect fit as to shaft angle and length. So golfers should have a good putter! In my opinion, I think that the Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter is still the best one! The heel-toe weights provide increased stability by reducing head rotation on off-center impacts for a larger sweet spot. The factory adjustable weights are set to provide the proper headweight-to-shaft length combination, but can be customized to make the head feel heavier to suit specific putting green conditions. I still love the scotty cameron. The scotty cameron putter improved high toe profile of Studio Select helps eliminate the tendency to raise the toe at address thereby causing the player to aim left of target. Studio Select also features a stepless shaft for a clean look at address and soft but solid feel, as well as a new red Cameron cord grip. The Scotty Cameron Studio Select family of precision milled 303 Stainless Steel Newport-style putters features bold red tour graphics, an improved high toe profile, and heel & toe circular sole weights that allow for multiple length options in each model. I'm completely satisfied with the putter's weight. I've been only playing for 6 months and was able to break 80 last week. This putter scotty cameron has given me so much more confidence in playing. |
