Titleist's new 712 iron series has come out. Titleist decided not to release a combo set, blending CB long irons with MB short irons. Titleist introduces the new Titleist 712 MB irons featuring improved feel and looks. And the Titleist 712 AP1, AP2 712 Irons, CB and MB irons have been used on the PGA Tour for the first time this week. This is the first step in Titleist's performance validation process while the product is prepared for release later this year. The Titleist AP1 is multi-material, dual cavity irons that take the design mission of "Advanced Performance You Can Feel" to new heights. The new Tuned Feel System is a co-molded medallion of soft elastomeric and aluminum plate. This insert has been specifically designed to improve the sound and feel of each new iron. For the thinner face, larger cavity AP1 a hotter, more lively feel has been enhanced. |
