Titleist AP1 710 Irons review2

I upgraded from Cleveland CG Gold to theTitleist AP1 712 Irons s with NST 105 Steel in R-Flex. Biggest difference is my ball flight is much higher now. Distance is about the same, maybe 3-4 yards more. Best thing though, is I can actuall work the ball! I used to hit only pull hooks with my irons, and developed a low release, abreviated follow-thru to prevent going left. Now with the AP1s I can fade the ball, and really need to follow thru for a straight shot or draw. The AP1 heads feel heavy, which is good for me to slow down and hit solid, letting the club swing instead of trying to power it thru the shot. It's surprising how high I can hit the 4-Iron. Some toe hits go the same distance as in the center, something the CG Golds never could. Nice to find my ball still reached the green! I'm hitting about 7-8 GIR instead of 3-4 GIR, and the pressure's now on my putting. Nice problem to have! My HC has dropped from 15 to 9! The only negatives are that I'm having a hard time hitting low shots, and some hard edge shots have sent a jarring vibration up the shaft. But that's feedback for you! Despite the expense my friends are impressed with both the name brand and my shots. One guy asked me if they are perimeter weighted (I said yes) and he said these clubs should not be allowed on the course!
I demoed these at my golf course one day and I was surprised that they weren't quite as forgiving as expected. I did like the flight of the ball when I flushed shots though.
